“Entre ellas” is a series of black-and-white photographs depicting duos and trios of girls and women in public spaces around the world. Through moments of celebration, prayer, performance, waiting, movement, and everyday interaction, the series considers the many ways they inhabit the world together. Gestures of affection, imitation, cooperation, shared attention, and self-presentation reveal relationships that range from familial and romantic to fleeting or ambiguous. Spanning generations and cultural contexts, the photographs are less concerned with documenting differences than with observing recurring forms of companionship and connection.
